Problem: Drone Thin Walls Chatter or Crack — Pocket Without Scrap
Problem: motor mounts / arm connectors hit mass targets on CAD, then thin walls chatter, warp after anodize, or crack at pocket corners.
Root cause: walls under ~1.0–1.2 mm with sharp internal corners, or 7075 chosen when 6061 would fly — plus cosmetic anodize with no keep-out faces.
Fix: share mass targets early; add radii; keep bearing/shaft fits tight and relax cosmetics; ask DFM if 3-axis or 5-axis is safer for undercuts.
Lead sketch: 1–50 pc batches common; Standard ≈ 10 days reference with anodize — Express when finish is light.
Upload STEP on the quote page (or 5-axis landing for compound arms) and flag thin walls in the notes.
